The Dead, The Decaying, and The Decomposers

This is the page on my website for the iNaturalist project I created: The Dead, The Decaying, and The Decomposers. This project was made to record the things that feed on decaying biomass-- that is, anything that once was alive and is no longer-- and to record dead organisms themselves. I hope that this project becomes something useful, as dead logs, carrion, and the like really do provide food and shelter for many diverse organisms. Because this project covers such a broad range of niche interests, everyone's contributions will be helpful.

How To Join This Project

To join this project, you will need to go to iNaturalist and make an account there. After making your account, go to Projects. You will see a multitude of different projects to record different things in nature. Search for the title of this project and there will be an option to join. Feel free to explore all the other great projects too!
